Polaroid City

Another urban attempt to capture beauty in the streets, in the park (at the doors of the Pub!), and right alongside my wife, sharing a beer or a dessert while looking for nice memories inside the Polaroid frames.

Field Notes:

Building this gallery, I can see some improvement in my exposition and composition in some of the photos (not all, I’m still a padawan). Of course, I must thank the technical leaps of the Polaroid I-2, but beyond that, this gallery also reminds me of the exact moment behind each one of these urban walks. The anxiety of losing my job, the hope of signing for a new one, New Year’s Eve, the delicious food shared with my wife (without that obnoxious “foodie” trend), every image reminds me of something recurrent: the uniqueness of these moments, how they deserve to be valued, and, of course, how there is nothing better to do it with than the physical preservation of a photo.
