Let’s be honest: I’ve been a software engineer for 15 years, and frankly, I’m tired of the over-digitalization of our lives. There is a clear irony here: I am using a digital medium to express my nonconformity with the empty proposals of Big Tech (the very same industry I use to pay my bills, my food, and the hosting of this very page).

But I’m done being a silent witness. I refuse to continue as a collaborator in this “shittification” of the content we consume and the way we use the technology behind it. This site is my manual override.

More of this kind of Manifesto in my First Blog Post!

The Director

Fig 02. My wife, eternal partner-in-crime, and me in our first Polaroid mirror-selfie.

Trust me, I’m the doctor(*) Bowtiemate:

All photos are 100% free of A.I. and filters. Aside from minor 35mm reframing or brightening, what you see is what the film captured; (indeed with Polaroid, the frame is the rule). This analog photography enthusiasm is my relief valve against the shallow, over-engineered content currently flooding the web.

Please excuse my somewhat rusty English. I chose it to distance my ideas and photos from any “geopolitical tint” (if you discover where these were taken, I hope it’s through the light and grain, not a label). Or maybe I’m just posing as an “international” and pretentious character…, your choice!

(*) If you get it… Allons-y!
